Exercises For The Road

When traveling here are a few exercises to do at your hotel or relatives home:
Jumping jacks, jumprope, or go for a walk.
Squats
Pushups
Crunches
Lunges
Plank
Bridging
Rotate through these for 30-45 minutes and then stretch with a few of your favorite yoga poses. You are guaranteed to feel better afterwards!!
Pleasure Vs. Pain During Your Workout

There are many of you out there who just plain don’t enjoy exercising! But you do it because you feel better! However it is so nice when we are able to move toward pleasure-based results that is your motivation instead of the painful ones. So what are your internal resources that will help empower you when you need that motivation to workout? Let’s define a few that you have within you that will assist you in your future workouts and provide you with strong set of goals:
What are your wants or your needs?
What are your interests?
Your attitudes having to do with interpreting your experiences during exercising.
Your heredity and environmental affects.
Weaknesses you inherently have due to poor choices or heredity.
Belief system.
Take a moment and reflect on all of the above honestly. See what surfaces and then in turn, in terms of your workout program begin slowly to replace your painful experiences with more pleasure filled experiences and slowly you will develop and reinforce those positive changes. We call that Practice!!! See you at your next workout!
