1) Land lightly and softly.
2) Relax your shoulders, neck and face, particularly the jaw. Loosely hold your arms and fingers.
3) Run holding your core in and up. Imagine wires attached to your shoulders, holding you up like a marionette.
4) Keep you head high and look ahead, only look down occasionally to see where you are on the path.
5) Keep your kips forward and every time your foot strikes the ground think stability.

According to Healthy Utah magazine, October 2007:
1) 66% of U.S. adults are either overweight or obese.
2) 56% of Americans want to lose weight.
3) 50% of Americans or ore are overweight and 80% percent of those people are on some kind of diet.
4) $2.9 billion spent annually on yoga classes and products.
The following is comparison between men and women:
5) 4% of women who have tried vegetarian diets as opposed to 0% men.
6) 72% of women say they believe it’s important to limit fats to lose weight as opposed to 52% of men.
7) 57% of women believe they need to lose weight as opposed to 29% of men.
19% of women who have tried low-fat diets as opposed to 8% of men.
9) 16% of women who have tried low-carb diets as opposed to 7% of men.
The numbers are NOT getting better they are getting worse. Oh, and just one more for your gee-whiz collection, The national average for weight gain during the holidays (Oct 31-Jan1) is 10 pounds!!!
