The Best Ab Exercises

According to a recent study at San Diego State University using electromyography  (EMG) to look at muscle activity found that abdominal crunches on the stability ball  list third in overall abdominal muscle activity.

The first and the second respectively are the bicycle and  the Captain’s Chair. However, the researchers did conclude that as far as effectiveness, the crunches on the stability ball are the most effective abdominal exercise overall.
