Don’t Miss Out On Your Workout Because Of Stress Injuries!
March 16, 2007
As we sit at the desk much of our day working on the keyboard, or we find ourselves consistently using some electronic device that uses our fingers excessively, or even just chopping carrots to flossing our teeth. Repetitive stress injuries account for more lost workdays than any other occupational illness.Â
Without addressing those wrists and exercising them regularly they can fall victim to carpal tunnel, so we handle them with a lot of care.Â
Here is a little tip concerning those wrists that will bring relief to them if done often. Either in a sitting or standing position with your spine elongated, extend your left arm with the wrist directly in front of your left shoulder. Turn your fingers inward and flex at the wrist. Taking your right hand, wrap it around the back side of the left hand and gently push. To intensity the stretch, make a fist. It will really bring relief and healing can take place over time.
