Great Balance Exercise That Increase Strength
March 7, 2007
Balance is a function of the nervous system where our body is in space and what it needs to do to make changes if balance is compromised! There is great news, however, and that is balance training.Â
Balance training gives exercisers the chance to maintain equilibrium so we will avoid injury. By this we can respond to a sense of imbalance quicker and regain that balance with proper form and alignment. So we just plain won’t get hurt! No one likes to fall. How do we get that training?Â
There are many exciting pieces of fitness equipment which will train you, one is the BOSU balance trainer, another is the stability ball, and lastly the gliding disks. I hope you all research a few classes out and find just how much it will help you improve, and not only in BALANCE, but in strength, coordination, speed, and power. Oh, and don’t forget it WILL bring many smiles as you play!
