Okay, everyone, here are the top ten healthiest vegetables according to adding up the percent of the Daily Value for five nutrients plus carotenoids and fiber.  Also scores for cooked vegetables are usually higher because more cooked than raw vegetable fits into half a cup.

  1. Collard greens, frozen
  2. Spinach
  3. Kale
  4. Swiss chard
  5. Red pepper, raw (1/2 med)
  6. Sweet potato, no skin (1 med)
  7. Pumpkin, canned
  8. Carrots
  9. Borccoli
  10. Carrot, raw (1 medium)

Vegetables are ranked from highest to lowest score.

And ½ cup fresh, cooked, unless noted.)
