What Exercise Format Keeps Things Diversified And Interesting?
July 3, 2007
Do you always wonder what new exercise format is coming to keep things diversified and interesting?
To keep the body reacting so as not to stay on a plateau? One new and innovative cutting-edge class is yoga with strength training combined. Some classes are appropriately named Iron Yoga or some other catchy name. In this class format you will find that as you work the traditional yoga poses you can also incorporate strength training using weights and bands as well.
This is such an effective way for many of you to get your strength and flexibility accomplished in a short amount of time. Plus, there are those who are nervous about yoga yet feel very comfortable in their strength program that are exposed to the great benefits that come from yoga. At the same time, the benefits from the strength training enhance your yoga practice that may surprise you. Such as the improvement of tricep strength when using weights that will assist you in holding a plank pose or a crane pose with more ease.
I think we are all about seeing results, plus keep our program interesting so we keep our enthusiasm. As they always say variety is the spice of life!!!
